Icarus Sujet

Coming soon. February 22, 2025, Antwerp/Belgium

A modern tale about the urgency of timelessness and the limits of infinity.

ICARUS

ICARUS at the edge of time

Icarus, the nerdy tinkerer and skillful explorer, finds himself on an emotional journey of bravery and mastery. Ending up where he belongs: ahead of his time, actually.
A modern tale about the urgency of timelessness and the limits of infinity.

This story was waiting to be told by circus artists. Careful, yet brave craftsmen of the physical arts.

As part of their seasonal happening, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra will play a concert of Philip Glass‘ „Icarus At The Edge Of Time“, conducted by Brad Lubman. For the first time the piece will be presented with a modern circus show instead of the accompanying video.

The CIRCollectors are proud to have true legends and cutting edge innovators collaborate under their name for this project:
La Vision, the original acrobatics duo from Cirque Du Soleils critically acclaimed show „Quidam“, Fenja Barteldres, who won the silver medal at Young Stage Basel in 2024 for her innovative use of the cyr wheel and Christiane Hapt, a pioneer in the field of object manipulation.
