A modern tale about the urgency of timelessness
and
the limits of infinity.
Icarus at the Edge of Time
Icarus, the nerdy tinkerer and skillful explorer, finds himself on an emotional journey of bravery and mastery. Ending up where he belongs: Ahead of his time, actually.
A modern tale about the urgency of timelessness and the limits of infinity.
„Icarus at the Edge of Time“ is a composition by Philip Glass, based on the book by Brian Greene.
This version, the staging as a circus show, premiered in 2025 in collaboration with Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, as part of their seasonal event.
The CIRCollectors are eager to cooperate with other orchestras and venues to bring this piece of modern circus, that is so dear to our hearts, to more audiences.
40 minutes in length, it is suitable to be presented as one half of a concert or as part of a themed event.
